Tire Pressure Monitoring System

Your Buick and GMC's Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) is designed to warn the driver when low-tire-pressure conditions exist. A sensor measures tire pressure and temperature, then transmits data to your tire pressure monitor. If the pressure in one or more of your tires is 25 percent or more below the vehicle manufacturer's recommended cold inflation pressure for tires, a warning indication will alert the driver.

Your Original Equipment TPMS sensor battery can last up to 10 years with normal use. When the TPMS battery fails, the sensor will need to be replaced.

How do you know that air pressure is low or whether the TPMS has malfunctioned? If your Tire Pressure Monitor light comes on and stays solid with a check tire pressure, low tire pressure, or add air to tire message, then check and adjust all tire air pressures to the recommended levels. Next, drive your vehicle to turn the light off.

If your Tire Pressure Monitor light appears as a blinking yellow lamp for more than one minute and stays solid, then diagnostic service is needed. If your TPMS is not functioning properly, it cannot detect or signal a low-tire condition. Simply schedule an appointment with one of our Certified Service Technicians and they can ensure your TPMS is operating properly so you can go with confidence.

Wheel Alignment & Balance

Wheel alignment is a critical aspect of maintaining a vehicle's performance, safety, and longevity. It ensures that the wheels are perpendicular to the ground and parallel to each other, resulting in even contact between the tires and the road surface. This has numerous benefits, such as improving handling and steering, enhancing tire life, increasing fuel efficiency, providing better ride comfort, and ensuring vehicle safety.

A well-aligned vehicle provides a more comfortable ride, reducing vibrations and other issues that can lead to discomfort. Finally, proper wheel alignment is essential for vehicle safety, as misaligned wheels can cause the vehicle to pull to one side and make it difficult to control in emergency situations.

Regular wheel alignment checks and adjustments can help to ensure that your vehicle is operating at its best and prevent premature tire wear and other problems. Thus, wheel alignment is crucial for maintaining the performance, safety, and longevity of a vehicle, making it an essential aspect of vehicle maintenance.

Tire Rotations

Regular tire rotations are an essential part of maintaining the performance, safety, and longevity of a vehicle's tires. During tire rotations, the position of each tire is changed, moving the front tires to the rear and vice versa, to ensure even wear across all tires. They help to ensure even wear across all tires, improve vehicle handling and traction, increase fuel efficiency, and enhance safety on the road.

The benefits of regular tire rotations are numerous. It helps to extend the life of the tires. Tires wear unevenly due to different factors such as weight distribution, turning, and braking. Rotating the tires regularly can even out the wear and prevent premature wear on specific tires. Regular tire rotations can improve vehicle handling and traction. When the tires are worn unevenly, it can result in a decrease in handling and traction.

By rotating the tires regularly, it helps to ensure that each tire is wearing evenly and maintaining optimal contact with the road surface. Regular tire rotations can help to improve fuel efficiency. When the tires are wearing evenly, it can reduce the rolling resistance and decrease the amount of fuel needed to power the vehicle. Tire rotations are also essential for safety. Worn tires can be dangerous and cause accidents, particularly in wet or slippery conditions. By rotating the tires regularly, it helps to ensure that each tire is wearing evenly and maintaining optimal contact with the road surface, reducing the risk of accidents due to tire wear.
